REELECT Julie Pointner
for Plymouth City Council
Four years ago you elected me to serve on the Plymouth City Council and together we got to work. Since taking office, I've championed inclusionary housing policy, new TIF districts for affordable housing, a housing trust fund, and 4D housing programs — creating real options for Plymouth families. I've also helped deliver citywide compost collection, supported solar on city buildings, redid the assessment policy, and worked to reduce accidents on our major roads, all while keeping Plymouth's tax rate among the lowest in the metro.
There's more to do. Currently the average age of a first time home buyer is 40 years of age. This has to change. We are in the middle of writing Plymouth's 2050 Comprehensive Plan. This is the guiding document for all development and redevelopment in the city. I'm running for reelection to ensure that Plymouth stays a welcoming place for all its residents. A city with more housing options, safe streets, thriving small businesses, and a city government that listens to every resident. I would be honored to earn your vote.
